100% Attendance celebrations

100% Attendance celebrations

On Friday 17th February children who achieved 100% Attendance between 

7th September 2016 to 17th February 2017, were invited to a celebration Tea Party with their parents.

Mrs Goatley, Headteacher presented the children with certificates and then children and parents enjoyed a tea party.  A special  cake was baked to mark the occasion and the honour of cutting the cake was performed by the Maytree Attendance mascot Edi the Bee.

DUGs Day in Reception classes

We wrote invites to our Dads, Uncles and Grandads to invite them to come and play with us in Year R. Lots of our Daddy's came. We showed them what we have been learning and we shared our Learning Journeys with them. We would like to say a big 'Thank You' to all the Dads, Uncles and Grandads that came!

Chinese New Year 2017

We had great fun at the Chinese Workshop! We learnt about how people celebrate Chinese New Year and learnt a Chinese dragon dance. We even had a go at being a Dragon!

Around 30 Mums, Dads and Children attended this morning's Coffee Morning and we raised approx £13.

School Governor Mrs Joyce England also came along to enjoy a slice of cake & a coffee whilst talking to parents.
