Dear Parents,

I'm so happy that more parents are coming to the library.  Please help Maytree Library to look after all of our nice new books that we now have in stock.

Please tell a member of staff  if you find any books which may have been accidentally ripped.

Year 1 Learning about pets

In Year 1 we have been learning about pets.  So, as you can imagine, we were extremely excited when Miss Curtis brought some chicks and ducklings into school.

We had the chance to hold them, and observe the differences between them. We noticed that the ducklings were very fast runners (they are Indian Runner Ducks), and that the ducklings had special webbed feet to help them to swim. We also noticed that the hen chicks and ducklings had different shaped beaks. It was lots of fun!
