World Art Day
Today Year R, 1 and 2 have joined in with World Art day.
Each Year group chose a different country to learn about and created art work based on that country.
Year R have been learning about Australia and have spent the day making Aboriginal paintings, rice pictures and boomerangs.
Year 1 have been learning about Morocco and have spent the day making mosaic art work.
Year 2 have been learning about Brazil and have spent the day designing and making carnival masks.
In the afternoon we had the opportunity to look at the art work produced in other year groups.
We have had a busy, fun filled art day and can't wait to do it again!
